My son was nearly abducted on holiday in Majorca in 1997. Like Ben he was blonde and 2 yrs old! As I was walking through a market in C'an Picafort an Arab looking man started tickling my sons head as he walked a few metres in front of me. Within seconds he had started to tickle his hand and then grabbed his hand and then started dragging him off the market. I just ran and grabbed my son and the man just disappeared into the crowd. I reported it to the local authorities who just werent interested. My Ryan could so easily have been your Ben. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I pray he is returned home soon.

I have followed this story from the beginning, can't believe it's 20 years. Hopefully now with the help of Internet & twitter the information will keep Ben's story going around on a regular basis. Let's bring Ben home, Kerry needs her son back x

I watched the tonight programme and saw your story on This Morning. I am a 28 year old mother and although I had heard of Ben I did not know the full details. It shocks me that not enough was done at the time.
My heart goes out to you and I pray you find your son. I hope that now you will get all the support from the British police and media and that everything in their power is done to find him. Take care xx

I'm not sure if you know how far your message is reaching, but I am in the US, in Maine, and I found Ben's story on a crime blog while reading about a girl missing here in America. Your story is a true testament to how powerful a mother's love is for her children! You are an inspiration. I am a mother of 2 sons, 3 and 17 months, and my heart was breaking just reading the first few details of Ben's disappearance. My thoughts and prayers for continued strength and determination are being sent to you! May Ben find his way back to his loving mom and family!!

I was thinking on the same lines as Lei. Facebook! I just wondered if they would call Ben by another name, maybe a Greek name that was fashioneable at that time! Or a name that would have meaning at that time. Ben is at the age to be on Facebook and may be questioning his background right now. I really hope that some progress can be made in finding this young man. And my thoughts are with Kerry and all the family.

i have just read about a family that located their missing child after 25 years via facebook. i realise how absolutley bizarre this is going to sound, however, i read about the fact that a doctor years ago believed he had seen Ben with a greek woman in a hospital, whom had called him Ben!!.( i have not however, read everything regarding the location of the sightings.) Although, do you think it possible that they kept his name 'Ben' in order for the child not to get confused at a young age, and If this WAS the case the spelling would not be the same, as greece has different lettering. his name would be on facebook for instance as Μπεν. pronounced VEN due to greeks saying Vs for Bs and vise versa. It is also known that Facebook is a well known and used social networking site all over the world and very likely that Ben is using it somewhere!!
In addition to the above mentioned....with all of the computer technology everywhere is there not some way of using the points on your age progression photos to see if there are any actual photographs of other young men all over the internet. Surely there is, i mean if authorities can match finger prints etc to a database, there must be a way of locating images that will 'pop up' if they match Bens facial profile. Afterall the internet is only a database really. Just a thought, i realise that this idea is far fetched but I would try anything I could possibly think of if I was in your position!!
